Generosity is not an addition to EKLEKTOS. It is one of its foundations.
EKLEKTOS has been created around the belief that commercial success and meaningful impact should strengthen one another.
The EKLEKTOS Foundation gives that belief permanence.
THE COMMITMENT
EKLEKTOS will commit 5% of its net revenue to the EKLEKTOS Foundation.
Not occasionally.
Not when convenient.
As an enduring commitment built into the institution from its beginning.
As EKLEKTOS grows, so should its capacity to contribute.
MEMBER-LED IMPACT
The Foundation will not simply make decisions on behalf of the membership.
Members will have the opportunity to help identify, discuss and support causes, organisations and initiatives capable of creating meaningful impact.
The collective experience of 1,000 exceptional people should become an extraordinary resource for good.
Not only through money. Through knowledge, relationships, ideas and time.
THE GENEROSITY BOARD
Within the private EKLEKTOS platform, the Generosity Board enables Members to offer help directly to one another and the wider causes they care about.
Some of the most valuable acts of generosity have no financial value at all.
BEYOND THE CHEQUE
Many EKLEKTOS Members will already be significant philanthropists.
The Foundation does not need to replicate their existing giving.
Instead, EKLEKTOS can bring together capital, experience and relationships around opportunities where collective action may achieve more than any individual could achieve alone.
The ambition is thoughtful impact rather than simply greater expenditure.
A CULTURE OF CONTRIBUTION
Great institutions are strengthened when belonging carries responsibility as well as privilege.
EKLEKTOS therefore seeks to create a culture in which Members naturally ask not only:
“What can this institution offer me?”
but also:
“What can I contribute?”
That principle extends far beyond the Foundation. It should influence the culture of EKLEKTOS itself.
OVER GENERATIONS
The permanent nature of the 5% commitment means that the Foundation's potential grows alongside the institution.
What begins modestly can become significant.
What one generation establishes can be strengthened by the next.
Over decades, the ambition is for the EKLEKTOS Foundation to become an enduring expression of the generosity, judgement and collective capability of the membership.

Success creates the ability to make choices.
